Role Overview: 

As Senior Account Manager – Managed Services, your primary focus will be to grow and retain recurring revenue across a portfolio of managed service clients. You’ll act as a strategic advisor, identifying opportunities to expand service adoption, improve client satisfaction, and drive long-term value through proactive account management and solution alignment. 
 
This hybrid role is based in Sheffield, with flexibility for client site visits and remote work. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Drive Recurring Revenue Growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across managed services (e.g. IT support, infrastructure, cyber security, cloud solutions). 
  • Client Retention & Expansion: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure high renewal rates and long-term engagement. 
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and maintain client-specific IT roadmaps and service strategies aligned to business goals. 
  • Contract Management: Lead renewals, amendments, and commercial negotiations to maximise margin and value. 
  • Sales Forecasting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecast recurring revenue growth. 
  • Service Review Leadership: Conduct regular client reviews to assess performance, identify risks, and present strategic recommendations. 
  • Project Oversight: Collaborate with technical teams to scope, quote, and deliver managed service projects. 
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Bring together internal experts and client stakeholders to support solution design and delivery. 
  • Discovery & Onboarding: Lead audits and onboarding sessions for new clients, ensuring smooth transitions and early value delivery. 
  • Technology Advisory: Educate clients on emerging technologies and how they can enhance operational efficiency and security. 

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in account management, ideally within IT managed services or technology. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing recurring revenue. 
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Comfortable presenting technical concepts in business-friendly language. 
  • Highly organised, proactive, and customer-focused. 
  • Full UK driving licence required.
