Resiliency, take responsibility

As more customers move applications into the cloud, it is becoming paramount that their WAN connectivity can handle the increased usage demands it is being subjected to. Equally as important is the resiliency and strength of the underlying circuits. However, not every error  can be prevented and we are increasingly seeing issues outside of our network that are affecting your use of our circuits. Be that exchanges being robbed or contractors cutting through fibre or copper cables laid. We have strived to keep you abreast of the investment we have made in our network, and are confident that our network is as robust as it has been at any stage and well built to withstand the worst network issues. We also provide resilient solutions that ‘self heal’ should you experience an outage. These have been branded as ‘Advance’ solutions, and are additions to the single circuits we provide. ADVANCE solutions, via the presence of a redundant circuit from a different carrier, re-route the traffic via the redundant route should the primary circuit fail. This happens seamlessly, and is quick enough to maintain an IP voice or video call, and helps give you the peace of mind that should the worst happen, you will still maintain internet access. We support these services with an SLA of 99.99 per cent. For all of you that have single circuits (BURST, VOX, SDSL) that use web based applications, speak to your account manager about the range of resilient options available.
