The challenge
By providing software to many customers, Ticketsolve handles a lot of data. Ensuring that people felt secure with Ticketsolve was of paramount importance, and in assessing their situation it was determined that they had outgrown their previous provider. Emma Young, Ticketsolve’s Operations Manager said: “We really wanted someone who could provide us security as a company to make sure that we are following best practises, that our devices and hardware are secure, our office base is secure and, basically, that cyber security is at the forefront of all of our minds.”
The solution
Ticketsolve was already certified with Cyber Essentials but looked to strengthen themselves further by obtaining Cyber Essentials Plus. FluidOne was recommended by the Cyber Essentials organisation, providing Ticketsolve with the confidence to pursue further discussions. They obtained a Security Protection Lite package along with consultancy to help them attain Cyber Essentials Plus. As Emma Young stated: “We're using FluidOne to lock the doors. The door's always been shut. We just need someone to turn the key and lock it.”
The result
Ticketsolve has been really pleased with their FluidOne packages and the support that they receive – they have utilised these for everything from a Google data deep clean to consultancy on hardware. They are also looking at other FluidOne services:
