Statement on incorrect dark web attribution

Posted by FluidOne on Jan 20, 2026 09:00:00 AM

FluidOne is aware of a dark web listing circulated on 19 January 2026 that incorrectly suggested our organisation had experienced a data breach.

Following a thorough investigation, we are confident that the data in question does not belong to FluidOne. The incident appears to involve a company with a similar name to a previously acquired entity, and the attribution was made in error. We have reported this matter to UK law enforcement authorities and will support any subsequent investigation.

FluidOne places the utmost importance on security, resilience and the protection of customer data. Our systems, processes and monitoring – strengthened through our comprehensive resilience and cyber‑defence services delivered by CSA Cyber – continue to operate as normal, with no evidence of compromise.

We remain committed to transparency and will update our customers and partners should any new information emerge.
