Telemarketing Executive

Location: London / Home based

Report to: Sales Manager

Salary: Competitive dependent on experience and qualifications

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic Telemarketing Executive to work alongside our direct Sales Team. The main purpose of the job is to qualify and nurture potential customers to a point where they are ready to be passed to the sales team to be developed into opportunities that can be quoted for.

This will be a varied role in which every day will be different. The successful candidate will be required to work proactively managing their own workload based on set priorities. Incoming enquiries will be given the immediate attention, followed by nurturing and progressing recent leads and then proactively contacting old contacts to refresh and update contact information and contract information.


Main duties

  • Proactively monitor the inbound web leads/enquiries and respond quickly to initially qualify the requirement
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service
  • Confidently answer questions about the products or the company
  • Research prospects to gain insight to help the sales process
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Record all calls and emails, as well as noting any useful information against the record in the company CRM system, SalesForce.com
  • Any other duties commensurate to role

Experience / Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal & written knowledge of English
  • Inquisitive nature and an appetite to research opportunities
  • Proven experience in a telemarketing, telesales, or phone-based customer service role
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
