Product Manager – Data Services

Location: London, SE1 9PG

Report to: Head of Product

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + bonus

Working hours: 37 hours Mon -Fri

Role Overview

The Product Manager – Data Services will be responsible for developing and testing new product initiatives from concept through to launch that deliver a commercial benefit. This includes market research, pricing, go-to-market strategy, sales campaigns, and end-to-end product management through the entire lifecycle.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the business product portfolio for data
  • Act as a key contributor to market intelligence insight
  • Lead the development and execution of products
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to design, create and launch products that meet demands
  • Own and report on the product portfolio lifecycle, performance and roadmap
  • Define and maintain product related documentation including (but not limited to) sales collateral, marketing content, campaigns, service descriptions, presales collateral, delivery and operational models
  • Help shape the overall customer experience, including go-to market proposition
  • Review with customers and departments within the business on product performance
  • Work with Marketing to develop and measure the effectiveness of the go-to market strategy campaigns
  • Arrange and provide training, support and coaching for the across the business for product understanding and knowledge

Experience / Qualifications

  • 2 years Product Management experience within the telecoms industry
  • Track record in the creation, implementation, delivery and management of products
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstration of working to challenging deadlines and delivering
  • Knowledge and experience with product launch and promotion
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Educated to a graduate level or equivalent, ideally in a business or technology related subject
  • Commercial development of initial proposals and production/maintenance of business cases and profit-and-loss account
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

Location: 5 Hatfields, London, SE1 9PG. However, due to the nature of your work, the Company may require you to travel to and work at a supplier, customer and prospective customer sites and other work-related locations.
