Role Overview:

The Delivery Manager is a key part of the software and transformation team; manages the delivery of all transformational projects in FluidOne. These projects include elements of people and process change, system administration and configuration, and software development. They own the software development lifecycle, and line manage the software developers.

This role engages cross-functionally across the business through stakeholder management, sign offs and project management and governance to deliver transformational projects throughout FluidOne.

The Delivery Manager will also act as Scrum Master for the team, owning the Agile Methodology in place for the delivery of projects, and acting as a servant leader to the team to create iterative improvement of the process through self-management.

Responsibilities:

  • Line management of software engineers; helping them to develop their skills and capabilities in line with the needs of the roadmap, business, and career progression of the engineers themselves
  • Project management of all transformation projects – including stakeholder management, software delivery, project governance and reporting
  • Plan all project deliverables according to the business requirements of the greater roadmap and ensure that we meet overall priorities and needs of FluidOne
  • Reporting to senior stakeholders in project progress, backlog, priorities, change and actions
  • Scrum Master and owner of the Agile Delivery Methodology (ScrumBan) and process, including its continuous and iterative improvement
  • Engage resource from elsewhere in the business to support project deliverables
  • Work with System Operations to align delivery of system configurations to that of software development
  • Plan, document and communicate releases for all systems changes and developed software; including planning UAT, training and roll-out phases
  • Support planning and provision of training to users for completed software before its release
  • Contribute to triage of requests / issues raised by team members across the business
