With that in mind, we are looking for a Supplier Manager to manage our portfolio of supplier relationships.
The Supplier Manager will be an experienced, commercially minded individual responsible for manging FluidOne’s 20+ supplier relationships. This includes relationship management, commercial negotiation and strategy development. The Supplier Manager will be targeted on the commercial success of supplier relationships and driven by KPI’s within this.
A successful candidate will have demonstrable experience managing supplier relationships and be able to use this expertise to assist and influence the wider business.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Successfully manage supplier relationships to ensure we are maximizing our partnership with them
Hold service reviews, including input from across the wider business and ensure any challenges are resolved effectively
Work with the Sales team to ensure they are meeting targets and delivering the service provided by suppliers
Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and ensure expectations are met on both sides
Provide support across departments for the introduction of changes to supplier relationships or their products. Responsible for preparing Operations for product change, supporting training and communication across the business
Evolve the current supplier portfolio in line with the Company’s growth objectives, including sourcing, selection, negotiation and implementation of new relationships
Manage the commercials of supplier relationships
Review current spend with suppliers, analysing the efficiency of the relationship and where there may be saving opportunities
Negotiate further discounts from suppliers
Conduct analysis by looking into the overall spend and profitability of our suppliers and services to ensure we are maximising the commercial element of the relationship
Review customer account information to determine trends to understand where we are competitive and why we have loss

The Successful candidate will have the following experience/competencies:
Relevant industrial, sectoral or technical experience is desirable but not essential
Previous experience in a supplier management or supplier focused role
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Must be impactful and influential with those they work with
Proven ability in managing large projects across multiple departments
Proven track record in delivering against targets and tight deadlines
Attention to detail in all aspects of work is required
Must have an excellent command of the written and spoken English language
Must have excellent understanding of the Microsoft package, especially Excel
