Role overview:

Service Delivery is a fast paced environment where no two days are the same requiring great organisational skills and adaptability. You will provide and oversee the delivery of standalone solutions and complex projects. Members of the team are expected to work on their own projects and with a dedicated direct client base.

Full job specification:

    Project Management:

  • Be the lead project manager for major and multi-site delivery projects

  • Be available to assist with internal major projects

  • Work with the service delivery team to coordinate service installation and disconnection with a variety of carriers

  • Use a variety of online systems (internal and 3rd party portals) to place, track and manage multiple orders

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with customers and engineers

  • Ensure all relevant data is captured on the order management system for financial reconciliation, fault resolution and auditing purposes

  • Fully utilise project management software to appropriately plan projects and control resources and costs

  • Provide clear expectations internally so that projects are managed efficiently

  • Ensure that projects are managed within given cost, time and quality tolerances and any exceptions are communicated as soon as they are identified

  • Client Management:

  • Manage client expectations, delivery dates and provide excellent service to build and maintain rapport

  • Able to understand the importance of the project from the customers perspective

  • Ensure tasks are prioritised in accordance with the customers’ expectations

  • Attend weekly client conference meetings via phone or in person, where applicable, regarding multisite projects discussing new requirements, status and project plans to ensure each risk is assessed adequately and objectives are accomplished successfully

  • Service Delivery:

  • Work with other members of the Service Delivery team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner

  • Manage and escalate order issues internally as well as with external 3rd party vendors

  • Liaise with our in-house technical team to ensure correct configuration of equipment, and monitoring of dispatch as necessary

  • Assist the Customer Success Manager with their day to day duties

  • Assist with ISO and other regulatory audits as applicable

  • Manage efficient and cost-effective stock control

  • Experience / Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years previous experience within an IT or telecommunications business in a service delivery or project management role

  • Good understanding of telecommunications data technologies (DSL & leased lines)

  • A PRINCE 2 Certification with a demonstrable experience and strong working knowledge of the principles

  • Good motivation and work ethic, with the ability to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong MS Excel and Project skills

  • Must be well organised and have strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work under time critical pressure
